The “Journey of Young Leaders” was chosen for the Brisbane Broncos 2023 Indigenous Jersey. The painting by Casey Coolwell-Fisher celebrates the sacrifices and resilience of young leader in the community and on the football field. Sacrifice, empowerment, courage and strength are shown on four boomerangs. The communities that surround and keep them grounded are seen in the community links pattern. Knowledge passed down from elders and past leaders are shared amongst the gathered dots.
