Designed by proud Indigenous artist Bianca Beetson, niece of rugby league great Arthur Beetson, the 2025 Indigenous Jersey is a powerful tribute to heritage, unity and legacy. Born in Roma, Arthur Beetson was not only the first Indigenous Australian to captain a national team – he also led Queensland in the inaugural State of Origin in 1980. His influence endures both on and off the field through the Arthur Beetson Foundation, supporting Indigenous Australians in health, education, sport, employment and business development.
